Hi there, I'm Gregg Murray

I believe our mission in life is to find our purpose. And I believe that's true whether you're a teen, an adult, or somewhere in between.

I am here to help students find purpose and do good.

I've spent over a decade honing my college counseling and academic advising skills at some of the most dynamic secondary schools and universities in the world.

During this time, I've developed a passion for cultivating student empowerment and supporting mission-driven work. I strive to be a person students trust and turn to for advice, be it college-related or about life in general.

Now, I am ready to launch future-ready students!

College Counseling + Life Planning

I have been fortunate to work alongside the most inspiring minds in education. They ingrained in me a commitment to be an ethical, student-centered college counselor, who asks "What is in the best interest of my students?" before making any decisions. I know I have done right by them when they come back to visit or circle back to tell me they’re off to graduate school!

Academic Advising + Enrichment

"How many APs do I need?" "Can I quit this activity?" "Will colleges care if I...?" The purpose of school is to learn and that only happens when students are appropriately challenged. Through empathetic listening and guided self-reflection, I equip students with the skills to answer their own questions with confidence. I help students find balance and grow into whom they were always meant to be.

Innovation + Cultural Competency

Some counselors stick with what they know - but not me. I'm always on the lookout for new ways of thinking and doing, and I hope my students model that. Growing up as a gay-identifying low-income student with a multicultural family, I know what it's like to be "othered," lack resources, and see family members struggle. As a result, I aim to promote equity, inclusion, and access in my daily work.
